TASTE OF THE HOLIDAYS

On November 17, Altrusans will celebrate 25 years of The Taste of The Holidays. A fashion extra-vaganza will again be provided by Sherri's The Rose Bud as guests gather to feast on Altrusan's gourmet cooking.    

So, save the date for the November 17, 2011, celebration as Altrusans share 25 years of success stories.  This event raises the funding for projects and scholarships to support local students and non-profit agencies. 

Each year Altrusans in Temple lead the season of giving with their annual Taste of the Holidays luncheon and style show.  This event is the primary method for the club to raise funds to support life-changing projects for the surrounding community.  Over the years, the funds raised from this event have provided thousands of supplies for school children, books for all ages, medical supplies, paid for improvements to camping facilities and retreats, provided materials for infants and many other needed materials.  Corporate donations, individual contributions and support from the community help to make this event successful each year.

2.  Hand made Christmas Set to include a blue and silver tree skirt, stockings, and ornaments

4.  Spa package from Woodhouse Day Spay in Belton, which includes a back, neck, and shoulder massage with a facial and a pedicure

 All proceeds will support scholarships for local students.

Each year you can expect exciting entertainment including Christmas music and great fashions.  Altrusa plans to raise funds to support another successful year of projects for the community with planning to begin for TASTE OF THE HOLIDAYS 2011 as the Altrusa Year begins in June, 2011.  The proceeds from this event will fund the club's contributions to area schools and agencies supporting education, health and basic necessities for our community.
