The officers and Foundation Board members serve from June 1 of each year through May of the following unless otherwise stated.  Officers and Foundation Board members are nominated by the nominating committee and then elected to serve by the membership at large.  In order to serve, the Altrusan must be a member in good standing with her dues paid in full for the year of service.

2011-2012 President’s Goals

Service:

• Evaluate the club’s current projects and grants to maximize our service to BellCounty through a community analysis for potentially unserved or underserved needs.
• Implement Five-Year Strategic Plan to further the club’s community service efforts and serve the needs of our members.
• Create a Make A Difference Day project which is entirely literacy based.

Membership:

• Retain current members and add 6 new members.
• Create Past President’s counsel to assist in on-boarding new members and mentoring existing members.  [New members are those members that have been with the club one year or less.]

Leadership Development:

• Develop leadership within the club by encouraging all members to serve on at least one of the following: Club Board of Directors, Foundation Board, Membership Committee, Communications Committee or as committee chair for Taste of the Holidays.
