ALTRUSANS GIVEN CERTIFICATE FOR SUPPORT OF THE MILITARY

It seemed like such a simple request and you had to ask "Why send a Wii?"  Altrusans partnered with a unit from Fort Hood that works with soldiers who are experiencing stress on the front lines.  The Captain requested a Wii and several other items.  So shortly after the unit's deployment, the package containing the Wii and other items were sent to Iraq. 

This October Leticia Caraveo, Altrusan who chaired the proposed project, shared a certificate of appreciation received from the command.  The materials and games sent for the unit were being used and were greatly appreciated.

Altrusans continue to look for ways to support the troops and their family members.
